The Arrhythmology and Cardiac Electrophysiology Department is active in the management of patients of any age. In our ward are daily admitted children, teenagers and adults with cardiac rhythm disturbances. The Electrophysiology Department, directed by Professor Carlo Pappone, is on the first place in Italy and among the first in the world in the field of the catheter ablation, of the implant of cardiac devices and in the use of the most advanced technologies for the cure of the arrhythmias.
In the last ten years in our electrophysiology laboratories were performed over 3000 procedures per year.

Arrhythmological consults and tests can be performed by our staff in Villa Maria Cecilia Hospital and in Città Studi Clinical Institute.
